Reviewer-friendly building permit drawings should include:

  • A clear title block and drawing identification
  • North arrow, scale, and metric units
  • Property lines and site dimensions

Site Grading Plans

A Site Grading Plan shows how the land will be shaped to direct runoff, protect the building, and maintain compatible grades at property lines. It may include swales, driveway grades, entrance elevations, retaining walls, catchbasins, and overland flow routes.

Site Servicing Plans

Commercial, industrial, institutional, townhouse, and multi-unit projects may require Site Plan Approval drawings. These drawings coordinate grading, servicing, stormwater management, access, utilities, and erosion control into a complete submission.

OPA/ZBA, Severance, and Subdivision Applications

For projects requiring a change in land use, zoning, lot configuration, or development pattern, civil information may also support:
