- Watermain alignment
- Hydrants, valves, and service connections
- Sanitary sewers and laterals
- Manholes and maintenance access
- Storm sewers and catchbasins
- Pipe sizes, slopes, and inverts
- External servicing connections
- Utility corridors and easements

Servicing must be coordinated with road alignments, grading, fire access, stormwater facilities, utility requirements, and municipal standards.
